minger of the week

yipeeee it is Friday again time for Minger Of The Week!

A quick update on my baby , we went back to hospital yesterday and she is now wearing the latest fashion trend .... a bright pink plaster cast!!! the doc was quite happy just to let the bone knit back together so that's good news she will be using crutches for 2 weeks then she can start to walk on her foot and the cast will be on for 5 weeks ,poor baby is bored and fed up but her friends are visiting and taking her out when i am at work .

Big night out tomorrow night tazzy ,piggy, coco and myself will all attend the retailers awards tazzy has said he will be taking lots of pics so if they are not toooooo hungover on Sunday we might get to see them on thier blog ,oh and summer has returned here lovely sunshine and its hot!!!

wimbledon

OH poor Tim Henman has been knocked out of wimbledon already
tut it is about time we had a decent tennis player . Here's hoping we do better on Saturday in the world cup , i will miss match as i have to work grrrrrr, but never mind party time Saturday night our annual retailers awards, time to dust of the evening dress put on the dancing shoes and have some fun yipeeeeee haa haa hangover time
coco is back from her hols on Friday so lots of gossip to catch up on
Hospital with my baby tomorrow thank you for you good wishes , my baby is fed up and bored as she cannot work but her mates have been to see her and that has cheered her up a bit , she is getting quite good with the crutches now she will soon be whizzing about

my poor baby

hi all
well i went to work as usual this morning had a cuppa in the coffee shop ......overpriced and ormally a disgusting cuppa but a few of us like to meet for a natter before we start work anyway(piggys fave word) got some work done srved some ladies and helped them choose the right make up then went out side for a ciggie break my mobile rang it was my darling daughter in tears she had fallen downstairs and heard her ankle crack, oh my god, she was alone in the house so i told her i was on my way home, when i got home she was in alot of pain so i told her i was taking her to hospital she didnt want to go as she thought she had just sprained it again, well we got to hospital she booked in saw the triage nurse then had an x-ray and then we sat for ages to see a doc eventually we got in and she looked at the x-ray and there it was the bone has chipped off her ankle soooo down we went to the plaster room my baby in a wheelchair and by this time she was really upset awww bless her well the temp pot was put on and then she was given crutches she was not impressed haa haa , well we fianlly got home after nearly 3 hours and we have to go back on thursday to the fracture clinic where she will see a specialist and have another pot on soooo it has been one of those days yet again my baby is now settled in bed for the night i hope she manages to sleep as she is exhausted and i must admit so am i

fave toy or teddy

well we did fave sweets , big response to that haa haa thank you all !!!

i have a collection of tatty teds or me to you bears as they are officially known as, i have cabinet full of the ceramic bears and i have bought loads from ebay some are very rare ones and cannot be bought in the shops now ,a couple of years ago i went to a me to you bear event oh i was like a child there were sooo many new ceramics to buy and some were limited editions and i managed to get one of them signed by the creator some people put the ones they got straight on ebay and made a fortune tut tut, i kept mine, and they have pride of place in my cabinet, in my bedroom i have shelves full of cuddly me to you bears they are special to me as most of them have been given to me for presents.

Anyway(piggy's fave word) the only toy i have left now from my childhood is a doll called patch she was sindy's sister and i have had her since i was 8 yrs old and she is near perfect condition she was always my fave doll and i used to have her sat on my bed , now she sits on my bedside table .

Well as me and Piggy did'nt really enjoy our sweets yesterday, i got thinking about the sweets we had when we were kids i have found some brill websites where you can buy the old fashioned sweets

i have put a few pics on of some of the delights they have ...... sweet baccy, eyeballs,black bullets,rhubarb and custard and of course bubble gum!!!

i used to love sherbert dips, sweet baccy and me gran always gave us a bar of caramac every sunday when we went to visit her after mass sighhhhhh where have all the goodies gone ??

Well back to work today no day off now for 7 days grrrrr, coco is still away enjoying the sun sea and sand ,it is really quiet at work without her.

Tazzy and Piggy have bought a new digital camera hmmmmmm they no doubt will be taking loads of pics and putting them on the blog .....oh and gawd help me they took some of me at work today soooo haa haa they will probably rearrange the original grrrr

We have a new sweet stall at work ....what a rip off £1.39 for 100g anyway we decided to go and have a look (me my daughter and piggy) we had a wander around looking at all the yummy fudge etc, Piggy dashed of to the bank to get some money (spending his pocket money on sweeties tut tut) my daughter and myself got a bag and started filling them mmmmm so much to choose from well we got to the till had the bags weighed ...........faints swoons shock horror......£9.48p chokes gulps .........well you would expect a bag full of goodies for that price, but nooooooo i got about 9 pieces of fudge and my daughter got a few more, we left Piggy looking at all the delights as i had to start work no doubt he is now skint one thing is for sure i wil not be returning to buy more goodies from there .......woolworths pic and mix will do me haa haa

Good morning world
Yes Friday is here once again the sun is shining and it looks like the weather is going to be hot this weekend yipeeeeee ,shame i'm working today and tomorrow .....but never mind i have a trip to the races on Sunday at York that should be fun.

Here's hoping we have a non eventful few days at work ....

Well what can i say, after reading some of the blogs today i feel quite sad life is full of sadness and heartbreak, it makes you sit back and realise just how lucky we are

what a day

Welcome to the Mall Alhambra Barnsley.........this is where myself coco and Tazzy work
today it was boiling hot very busy everyone shopping early to get home or visit the pub for the BIG GAME, Tazzy ans Piggy went to the cafe Moda for a cuppa before Tazzy started working to make sure that any shoplifters were 'nicked' well i decided to join them for a quick natter .....but low and behold above the cafe Moda was a woman threatening to throw herself off the balcony 2 floors up!!!! AN Incident.... crikey everyoe was looking up at her us included bit of excitement for a Saturday lunchtime we thought then the woman took of her socks and threw them down luckily they missed us we were sat far enough away ...then a message came through 'everyone out' we had to leave the cafe seems the woman did not like people looking up at her !!! sooo i went back to work T&P went their own ways people were gathering around lookig at this woman and she really was getting very stressed sooooo next thing yes u guessed they evacuated all the surrounding shops and R M U units we rushed to close up poor old piggy got told off by the old bill for loitering pmsl hmmmmm do they know of him does he do it often ???

Anyway (pigsters fave word) piggy went upstairs to wilkinsons to get some things (he disappeared not to be seen again this aft) we all went outside phewwww red hot out there and by this time the match had started and we couldnt find out the score grrrrr the police cordoned off the area and our brave superhero was on duty telling everyone that they were not allowed to go past the line saying there is an Incident we dont know how long it will last

well eventually after 2 hrs we got back to work the police managed to grab the poor woman and kept her safe

so if you are thinking about shopping at The Mall bring a tin helmet a flask and some sarnies coz you just never know what might happen oh and if you see piggy loitering somewhere show him the right direction for home haaa haa

freaky friday

Morning all
wow the weather is lovley wall to wall sunshine, shame we have to work when it is like this, our summers dont last very long so we should be able to have time off when the sun does shine!!!
Well here we are again back to Friday already, i am working now till next Thursday (including sunday) as coco is off on her hols for 3 weeks i will have the manageress and the new girl working with me (helpppppp) so that should be fun.....not, i am relying on piggy and tazzy to keep me sane for the next few weeks haa haa
have a great relaxing weekend .....think of me while you enjoy the 1st England match cold beers ans sunbathing coz i will be stuck indoors at work grrrrrrr COME ON ENGLAND

well summer seems to have come at last yipeeee
i have spent my day off today in the garden enjoying the sun
i might not have much time to blog over the next 3 weeks as i will be working more hours at work grrrrr and that includes sundays
and it is not doing my social life much good either!!!!

freaky friday

Yes Friday is here again already ....the weeks are flying by
yipeeee the sun is shining and it is warmer this morning maybe summer is here at last
I am suffering from terrible toothache looks like a visit to the dentists ,what a week i have had ,wanted to get my lawns cut and tidy the gardens but alas both lawn mowers have decided to give up on me grrrrr wasted over an hour trying to get them to work .....but they are dead
work yesterday was a nightmare ,we were having a girl come in to do a trial she was over 2 hours late then asked if she could sit down!!!! not a very good thing to say when you want a job soooooo she is off the list lets hope the one that comes in today is much better.
also found out that my estranged hubby is now living with another woman haa haa i am not in the least bit surprised ...poor woman i just hope she knows what she is letting herself in for !!!
